中共必须立即停止对基督教/天主教家庭教会的迫害
The Chinese Communist Regime must stop the persecution against house church Christians and Catholics
中共是信仰马克思列宁主义的唯物主义政党，是拜物教徒，因此，对基督教天主教等信仰上帝的宗教团体奉行改造/利用/控制/打击的政策。为改造控制教会，中共只允许基督教新教团体在基督教三自爱国运动委员会的控制下举行宗教活动，天主教则在爱国委员会的控制下活动。基督教三自爱国运动和天主教爱国委员会，是上世纪五O年 代毛泽东政权将外籍传教士驱逐出境后炮制出来的，是中共的统战工具,成立这些组织的目的是欺骗信徒和外国人民。中共控制的三自爱国运动，是复制的教会，牧 师是政府的宗教事务局控制的，政府有许多限制，可以说，已经不是真正的基督教会了。因此，一批追求正信的基督徒，不愿接受政府的控制和改造，便组织家庭教 会开展活动。中共为了逼迫他们就范，对他们进行残酷打击,逮捕/殴打他们，并罚款/判刑。据不完全统计，仅2006年，中国政府就逮捕了1958名非官方新教团体的基督徒。受害最严重的是牧师和讲道员。许多证据，揭示了基督信仰团体领导人遭到警方和宗教事务局虐待、殴打的情况。 许多人在被关押期间遭到了滥用刑罚的折磨。有的基督徒在审讯期间衣服被全部脱光。一名叫李公社的牧师，虽然身有残疾，还是被警察打翻在地，拳打脚踢之后一 根肋骨被打断，送到看守所后，仍未予以治疗。警方所采取的行动通常十分野蛮，对基督徒的指控都是不实之词和违背宗教自由权利的。
The Chinese Communist Party is a party of materialism believing in Marxism and Leninism, and thus posses fetishist character. It has used policies to transform, control and attack Christians and Catholics. The CCP only allows protestant Christians hold their religious ceremonies under the control of the Three-self Patriotic Movement Committee of the Protestant Churches of China which promotes a strategy of “self-governance, self-support, and self-propagation” in order to remove foreign influences from the Chinese churches and to ensure that the churches would be patriotic to the communist government. The Catholics activities are under the control of Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association. The Three-self Patriotic Movement Committee of the Protestant Churches and Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association were established in the 1950s after Mao Zedong’s regime drove foreign priests out of China, and have thus engaged in united front work. These organizations are meant to deceive religious people and foreigners. The CCP-controlled “Three-self” patriotic movement is a copycat church of the government’s Bureau of Religious Affairs with many restrictions from the government, and is actually not a true Christian church. Because of this, a group of Christians with righteous belief preferred to worship outside communist-government control in what are called “house churches” as they are often organized in homes of believers. As a result, they have been arrested, beaten, fined, and sentenced by the CCP. According to an incomplete statistics, in 2006 alone, the Chinese government arrested 1958 Christians who were not members of the government-backed protestant Christian church. Those who were most severely persecuted were ministers and preachers. There were many evidences of Christian leaders who were mistreated or beaten by the police or Bureau of Religious Affairs. Many suffered physical abuses while being detained in prison. Some Christians were stripped naked during interrogation. A minister named Li Gongshe was a handicap, yet he was beaten up so hard that he got a broken rib. He did not receive any medical treatment after being sent to a detention center. The police often used very violent measures, and they arrested Christians based on unfounded accusations which violated the rights to freedom of religious belief.
去年以来，中国的宗教迫害程度升级了。无论是抓捕的数字，还是对外国基督徒驱逐的数量，对家庭教会成员抓捕之后所采取的行动，尤其是酷刑的使用等案例，都有所增加。
Since last year, the persecution against religion in China has escalated. There is considerable increase in number of people who were arrested, of foreign Christians who were expelled from China, and of members of “house church” who were tortured after being arrested.
中国宪法明确规定，人民有宗教信仰自由，但在实际运作中，政府却只允许官方教会的存在。现在的统计数字显示，中国家庭教会的人数已经超过五千万人了。这些信徒不认同官方教会，这是他们的权利。政府对这些教会的打压完全是非理性的/非法的。
The Chinese constitution specifically states that Chinese people are entitled to freedom of religious belief. Yet, in reality the government only allows the government-backed churches to exist. Based on current statistics, there are over fifty million Chinese who belong to “house churches,” and they do not recognize the government-backed churches. This is their rights. The government’s repression of these churches is completely irrational and illegal.
奥运会即将召开，中国政府可能会从表面上降低对基督教家庭教会的迫害程度，但这并不能排除到奥运会后，家庭教会的基督徒受到的迫害可能会严重升级，中国人权状况更加恶化 。
With the Olympic Games approaching, on the surface the Chinese government may have decreased the persecution against house church Christians. Yet, this does not rule out the possibility that the persecution will be escalated after the Olympic Games is over, and that the human rights abuses in China will actually worsen.
因此，我们呼吁，各界人士联合起来，在奥运会前向中共施压，要求他们解散官方的基督教三自爱国运动委员会和天主教爱国委员会，停止干扰任何教会的宗教活动，停止迫害基督教/天主教家庭教会，落实中国宪法中关于宗教信仰自由的条款。
We therefore would like to call for people from different communities to pressure the Chinese Communist Party before the Olympic Games starts; and to demand that they disband the Three-self Patriotic Movement Committee of the Protestant Churches and Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association, that they stop interfering with any religious activities, and that they stop persecuting “house church” Christians and Catholics and truly fulfill the obligation to implement the rights to freedom of religious belief as stated in the Chinese constitution.
