自由論壇 新帖 | 查帖 | 刷新 nunia 1/17/2006 8:19:39 AM 标题 内容 I have a copy of 'The Four Books' with English translation and notes by James Legge, D.D.,LL.D. published by 'The Chinese Book Company' in Shanghai 1930. It is a marvelous print with both classic Chinese and english translation on the same page. I know James Legge was a missionary in China as early as 1839. It doesn't appear to me to be the same person. I would love to know more about 英国传教士李提摩太.
