Even after all these years, I still vividly remember—with an indescribable sense of joy and deep emotion—that very first moment after arriving in the U.S. when I felt truly and completely free, in both body and spirit! Compared to physical freedom, the liberation of the mind and intellect was even more profoundly moving. It felt just like a bird—battered and bruised from its struggle—finally being able to spread its wings and soar freely! What a profound misfortune it is to be a Chinese person struggling to survive under the dictatorial rule of the Communist Party! The Party employs every conceivable—and often unfathomable—tactic of deception, trickery, and intimidation to weave an illusory web around the populace. Brainwashing methods emerge in endless succession, transforming the people living in China into mere manipulable puppets and zombies. Everyone lives as if they were marionettes on a string, completely stripped of their personal liberty and independent consciousness; as for those who refuse to become such zombies, the Party unleashes a brutal, high-pressure crackdown—a relentless persecution that ceases only with death. As a victim once persecuted by the CCP’s family planning policies, I was not only forced to undergo mandatory abortions and IUD insertions—procedures that ultimately left me infertile—but I was also denied even the right to express my own opinions! I was stripped not only of my human rights but also of the basic human dignity inherent to every individual. Under the Communist Party’s malevolent rule, human nature itself has become twisted; corruption permeates every level of the bureaucracy, with officials at various agencies emulating the depravity of their superiors. Some civil servants have devolved into nothing more than thugs and bullies. I vividly recall the first time I became pregnant: I went to my local police station to apply for a birth permit—a document whose very existence is utterly absurd, for while childbearing is a woman’s natural instinct, in China, it has been weaponized into a mere tool of state control. I was in my thirties at the time—an age that, perhaps in the eyes of ordinary CCP bureaucrats, qualifies as "advanced maternal age." I approached the office to conduct my business in a perfectly proper and lawful manner; yet, to my astonishment, I was subjected to baseless humiliation and met with every conceivable obstruction, as they refused to process my application. It was only after enlisting the help of various intermediaries to make inquiries that I discovered the true reason: I had failed to offer a "gift"—a bribe. This incident sowed the seeds of a bitter grudge, which subsequently manifested as vindictive retaliation when I became pregnant a second time. The conduct of a single, lowly clerk serves as stark proof of just how deeply the CCP’s entire system has rotted from within! This is a crisis that can never be resolved through mere "institutional reform"; rather, it signifies a fundamental corruption at the very core of the Party’s values. Only by overthrowing this regime and ushering in a complete transformation of the political landscape can true rebirth and renewal be achieved! Speaking of reform—the CCP’s brand of reform is truly laughable! Now, after forty years, they have abruptly shifted gears: the family planning policy has been abolished, and they have begun encouraging childbirth instead. I ask you: where are the souls of the countless infants who perished unjustly during those forty years of family planning to find their resting place?! And who is there to seek justice for those wretched souls who met such tragic ends? Examples of such "reforms"—enacted at the cost of brutalizing the people—are simply too numerous to count! The family planning policy stands as a bloody, ruthless trampling of human nature by the CCP! The crimes of the CCP are truly too many to be fully recounted. Dictators never concern themselves with the lives or deaths of the people; they care only for their own power and dominion. For those of us who have escaped to lands of freedom, the most we can do is strive to the best of our ability to expose the Communist Party’s wickedness—to help awaken those who remain trapped in that living hell, enabling them to see the CCP’s malicious true face clearly. Only through unceasing resistance can true freedom be achieved! We bear a heavy burden, and the road ahead is long.
